During the DC Day at the Firemen's Home many members of The Wiccopee Fire Co. stopped by to visit with George Kelly, our adopted member.
Later in the day we took George outside to watch the parade, where he waved at the members as they passed in review.
After the parade we were taken on a guided tour of the new Firemen's Home, (opening later this year).
The tour started at the spacious entry way, continued to the meeting rooms, library, exercise room, conference room, chapel, medical care, sunlit patient rooms, and ended at the swimming pool in the basement. All on the tour were impressed by the design of the facility.
